A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MARY

Mary has lived and worked with her husband on the farm since 1967, while their children grew up.  In 1988 she joined a City and Guilds Textile Art course at Rugby and later at Kettering, where she found new friends and a never ending delight in colour and stitch.  Mary is a founder member of the Facets Textile Art group, which exhibits locally.  Mary was the first chairman of the Lutterworth Embroiderers Guild, enjoying going to the meetings and taking opportunities to attend courses run by the guild.

Her embroidery travels with her almost anywhere she goes.  She will stitch on a train, on a bus or an aeroplane.  She always amazes her contemporaries by the volume of work she is able to produce, despite having a busy life.
